UTAG-UPSA is a vibrant branch of the University Teachers Association of Ghana, uniting academic staff dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and community service. We serve as a strong voice for UPSA lecturers, promoting their welfare, professional growth, and academic freedom.
Guided by integrity, fairness, and collaboration, we strive to enhance the quality of higher education and foster a stronger bond between academia and society. Through shared purpose and active engagement, we continue to advance the vision of a thriving academic community that makes meaningful contributions to national progress and global scholarship.

Mission

To protect the welfare and professional interests of UPSA Lecturers while fostering excellence in teaching, research, and service. UTAG–UPSA strives to uphold academic freedom, integrity, and unity among members as we contribute to the advancement of higher education and national development.

Vision

To be a dynamic and respected association that champions the cause of university lecturers, inspires academic excellence, and influences educational policy for the betterment of Ghana. We envision a united academic community that upholds integrity, innovation, and service in shaping the nation’s intellectual and social progress.
